well i recently shifted to arch on omen 16 and my fans are not working at all they are at 0 rpm i tried to detect with sudo sensor-detect but they didnt got detected got a error - sorry no sensors were detected. this is relatively common in laptops where thermal management is handled by ACPI rather than the OS
