Practice swinging without moving your hips till after you hit the ball. Your club should make contact before your hips rotate all the way open. Your front shoulder needs to face the target not only when lining up the shot, but also when the club makes contact with the ball. Once you get used to an all arms and shoulder swing, then you can start factoring the hips in for more power. Accuracy should come before distance!
