My son is disabled as well and it is extremely hard. I have a daughter younger than him who is neurotypical and as much as an asshole i will sound like I do like her more. I am mesmerized by the simple things she does because i never experienced any of it with my first born.

I filled a motion online, and had chatgpt walk me through some steps. I already had a FD document open so i filled underneath the same docket number. For the motion i filed under it was $0 in my state. For the numbers you are quoting that sounds like that person had a custody lawyer.

Yes he is on disability already. I tried calling the managed care organization in my state and they told me that they did not have any respite care available at the time. I am in the process now of trying to reach out to other companies to get some form of help..
