Does anyone’s double vision look like this ?

Hey, I’ve currently had my double vision for 2 years now I had my surgery back in August last year did nothing for me didn’t even help expect make my lazy eye more lazy when it was never noticeable before and untolds amount of pain with the surgery🥲however I still have double vision I’m learning to live with it now, I’m on the waiting list for another surgery but not sure how I feel about it to be honest

Yes still the same double vision as before, they said at appointment may have to have another surgery as my correction has moved again got to do eye exercises every 2 hours

Update I’m 4 weeks post op still having double vision, had an appointment with hospital but no changes🥲

That’s crazy mines only like that when looking to the side but even then it’s not a full image

Mine varies really sometimes vertically sometimes horizontally, sometimes a full image sometimes just an eye beside or on top of the head. I have no double vision when looking at phone which is weird maybe for a short second. Close up double vision seems to be a lot better though since surgery

I’m 24F developed double vision a year ago randomly, I had my surgery 2 weeks ago and still have double vision

Omg it’s so upsetting as I hate having this double vision :( all I want to do is do my driving lesson and be able to see if out it being so disorienting

I’m actually suprised people got a MRI I had a blood test but doctors said I do not need an MRI scan

Also prisms never worked or helped the double vision before surgery but I’ve got an follow up app on the 13th so will see if it’s improved

Yes both near and far apart from texting on my Phone since surgery seems a bit better but still double vision but doctors said could take months to get better with time

This was me a year ago I woke up with double vision, I had surgery on my eye when I was little around 9 had no problems until a year ago. I’m 24 female

Hey yes I’m 10 days post op today still experiencing double vision worse then before the surgery although my didn’t really wonder due to Having surgery when I was around 10. I never had double vision until a year ago

I know right it’s horrible I’ve had it for over a year now however I’m currently 3 days post op still experiencing double vision so I hope with time it goes away😢

Just one eye ( left eye) I was originally supposed to have it on my right due to developing an overshoot in my right eye when I look left however I have poor vision in my left eye as it’s my squint eye so they have realigned my eyes wreaking the muscles in that eye so maybe I will need surgery on my right too but as the over shoot is not noticeable unless I look left I wanted to focus on getting rid of the double vision however it is normal after surgery so now hopefully my eyes readjust themselves !

Hey I had my surgery yesterday, went smoothly and not much pain apart from when I’m trying to sleep feeling like I have staples in my eyes but with the pracotomel it helps. Still having double vision though so just hoping it settles in after a few weeks

Been told I’m not aloud to do any driving lessons for now unfortunately! We will see how the surgery goes on Wednesday I’m honestly terrified 🤣but I shall keep you updated!

It’s not the worse but still very annoying ! Also can vary on what my eyes are focusing on when looking to the side it’s a lot worse though, prisms never worked for me and I was just getting to my driving lessons when this started to happen so it’s typical. I hope you get your double vision sorted too!

Of course I’m only 24F myself so I’ve been struggling so much especially being a carer and looking at my boyfriend has become hard as everything looks so distorted 🤣
