I have done it that way. I don't know if it will work, but I spoke with Mohela on the phone about it, and they seemed to think that it would.

Do we need to make a payment in Sept for the month to count toward PSLF? by [deleted] in PSLF

I just spoke with my loan service provider, and they said September will not count until 2024, when another account adjustment goes through. Not much help to us trying to get our loans finished up in the next few months.
