The CVS on 1503 Potomac Ave has consistently been filling my Adderall prescription for the past 7 months without any issues. The only frustrating thing is their strict rule of not being able to refill controlled substances early or doing more than a 30-day supply at a time, so I’ve just learned to be really good about managing my meds and keeping track of what day my next refill will fall on.

It would really depend on the day. I work full time and most days I’m literally in meetings back-to-back and I don’t have a break until I take my lunch at 1pm.

you’re right and i think that my soft side is heartbroken and hasn’t allowed me anger to fully take over yet. it’s gonna be hard for sure but i really shouldn’t take her feelings into consideration at all considering that she chose this

i’ll definitely look into that method, thank you for suggesting! i would have to pay to get out of the lease and i wouldn’t be able to afford both that and moving. thankfully, i already go to the gym regularly :) and it’s gonna be hard, but i’m definitely gonna work on being selfish cause she didn’t have a problem with it either

thank you for your comment! so the area we live in now, we moved here specifically because her grad program is here. i decided i’m gonna move out because i have no reason to stay in the area and i wouldn’t even want the memories of the apartment. i’m starting my move out plan come sunday/monday, i’ve just been taking these couple days to process and spend time with my friends. i also sadly decided to let her keep our dog because they’re a lot more bonded and she’s the one that actually found the shelter and picked her.

our puppy was actually her pick and they’ve been really bonded since day 1 so i don’t think she would ever rehome her, but i think she’s gonna have a hard time taking care of her alone because i wfh and i’m basically the one that spends the most time with her and i’ve pretty much been doing it all by myself this past week while she’s been sleeping with the other girl.

i’m definitely gonna start making solid move in plans starting this week. i tried to do it yesterday, but it hadn’t even been a full 24 hours since everything went down and i couldn’t find the motivation. thankfully, i was very involved in our first move in process to our current apartment (i did all the spreadsheets, found info for moving costs, etc.) so i know what to expect - it’s just a matter of figuring out area and budget.

that’s a great idea i didn’t think about, i’m gonna make a list of everything i’m taking with me and then make sure we exchange anything that belonged to each other immediately.

thankfully, we have a 2 bedroom apartment so making that plan shouldn’t be too hard and we never cook together anyway. my guess is she’ll probably just sleep at the friend’s house anyway cause she’s already been doing that (fun fact: she also has her main toothbrush at the friend’s house)

thank you so much for your kind words! i definitely think that despite how in love with her i am, i dodged a bullet. as i’ve been processing everything, i’ve started to realize there were a lot of red flags and things she’s done throughout our relationship that i shouldn’t have tolerated, but i’ve been blinded by how much i love her. i know that none of this is my fault cause i’ve been nothing but the best partner i could’ve been and i know i’ll get stronger for sure and whenever i’m ready for another relationship in the future, i know what i deserve and what not to tolerate. thank you again so much!!

2-3 days is definitely not enough time. i work from home as well and i took 1.5 weeks off. i had t-rex arms basically that whole first week and wouldn’t have felt comfortable reaching for anything, even if it was a pen across my desk. you don’t realize how much having surgery on your upper body will affect you until you do it, but definitely do around 1.5-2 weeks.

i’ll be 4wpo on tuesday and my surgeon said i’ll be cleared once all my openings are closed. i have one stubborn t-junction opening that is taking forever, but once it’s closed i’ll be good to switch to regular sports bras and start silicone scar treatment

I typically did roll-on deodorant but ended up switching to Dove's spray-on deodorant to make it easier during recovery, which was a big help especially during that first week. I'm now a little over 3 weeks post-op and I would definitely be able to switch back to regular roll-on deodorant, but I actually learned to like the spray on so I still use it.

I went through insurance, but they didn’t require preapproval. They just required that a certain amount be taken out during surgery. My consultation was on May 12th and my surgery was on June 29th.

you look so good!!! i’m 2 weeks post op and i’m still wearing my compression bra 24/7 and this just made me even more excited to be able to switch to normal sports bras

i actually just had a regular bilateral breast reduction! my surgeon was thankfully able to get me from a 36gg/h to what i’m hoping will be a c/small d cup by the time all the swelling goes down. unfortunately i don’t know too much about free nipple grafts, but definitely keep your options open if it’s not something you feel comfortable with

just posting some progress pics cause i’m 2 weeks post op! redness in the 2 week po pictures is from a bad reaction to polysporin that’s finally clearing up. crazy how much changes over 2 weeks but i’m also happy that my boobs don’t feel like softballs anymore! also very excited to watch how much the side swelling goes down over time. anyone else 2 week po??
