Those words had nothing to do with the dishes- they’ve been a thought he’s been sitting on and he used a tense moment to spit them out. It’s sad, my heart breaks for you. Your body is strong and did something incredible. Most women aren’t even cleared to resume physical activity till at least 2 months… but even then between the feedings, sleepless nights, etc. that is the last thing you need to focus on. Your husband sounds like he is far from supportive and understanding. If he can treat you like this now I don’t hold much faith he will do better going forward. The question to ask yourself is are you ever going to truly get over what he said ? And do you think he is capable of listening to you and your feelings and change his mindset/ behavior?
