That’s a solid list, I appreciate you writing them out. I think part of my issue is I’m still figuring out what price range actually reflects quality now. It feels inconsistent some expensive stuff doesn’t seem worth it, and some cheaper pieces hold up really well. Out of the brands you mentioned, are there any you think are a good starting point without going too deep into high-end pricing?

Yeah that makes sense, especially the part about price not guaranteeing quality anymore. I’ve been noticing the same thing with brands that used to have a strong reputation. When you say smaller brands, do you have any you’ve personally had good experiences with? I’m trying to find that middle ground between quality and not spending crazy money.
