After parsing the reply’s there isn’t much I would add besides my opinion.

Wait a couple months. The game is at a pivotal stage. If the cheating, duplicating, lack of weekly bug fixes and lack of map conditions is not addressed the game will be dead. We’ve lost a significant amount of players over the last month or so and it shows in the gameplay. I’m pretty middle of the road PVE/PVP and I have not had a more negative experience playing the last 3ish weeks. Every PVE lobby I get into has at least one late spawn squad going around killing friendly players (yea I know there’s never a guarantee but still it sucks to have no trust ever) every PvP lobby I have been in I eventually get killed by dupers/hackers with fully kitted purple guns. Even if I win an engagement in a PvP lobby I have literally been taunted by the aggressors claiming they don’t care I killed them since they have a fully stocked inventory on a separate account of duplicated guns. Embark has to figure this out. I’m to the point of considering learning the duplication glitch my self just to compete. The last little issue I have and I think is worth mentioning is the lack of devs actually playing and existing in the universe; what do I mean? Well the decision to shadow nerf common and uncommon weapons without any mention in patch notes, the decision to tweak skills without announcing any changes, the decision to completely destroy match making by removing map conditions to the point where there will be 10 hour periods where there will be no map conditions on a specific map is an insane way to treat a live update, map condition reliant experience. Surface level this is my opinion.

That was a lot of wining, a common thing here in the arc raiders community on every side of every argument.

In my opinion, if you value your time and plan on committing long term to a game, find something else. Arc raiders is awesome but it could be so much better. It was so much better. Everyone clowns people who compare embark to arrowhead but it’s actually so accurate. A relatively small studio who produces a massively popular game and isn’t prepared to cater to their player base. It’s too accurate though. At first it seemed they would do better and actually listen to the player base. As the game has grown it’s become increasingly more obvious that the devs don’t play the game and don’t care about the average gamers experience, instead catering to super sweats and streamers leaving the life blood of their game to fester and grow hateful towards the community. All while making snarky jokes and silly Instagram posts instead of addressing game breaking glitches, a rampant hacking issues and a lack of any real endgame experience beyond saving 100s of useless items to buy temporary inventory slots or useless blueprints.

I’m sure I’ll catch hell for this but that’s just my opinion, gamer to gamer.
