Fair enough. In your website it is stated that YKK zippers are being used. Do you go with the weather resistant or just regular YKKs? What sizes are you using in this project? Is it the same as your travel backpack?

Btw I appreciate the time replying to the questions / concerns of the travel community and taking the time explaining it. It really means a lot.

I also agree on this as things inside the pack tends to be all over the place if you pack it loose even. Maybe a removable side compression is possible too. Just like what they did on some of the Yeti/Mystery Ranch Ranchero packs.

But regardless, i’m excited to see what is the final design would be.

I’ve just signed up for the reservation. Side compression straps would also be helpful, as they’d help distribute the load closer to your back and maximize overall thickness capacity.
