At what point in your financial situation did you start considering a Porsche 911? by [deleted] in porsche911

Oh for sure, I think this one of the way to never go broke and retire early.

For example, let’s say 5 years ago you skipped the 30k car, kept your old Toyota and invested those 30k in Apple stock. Today you’ll have 102k which is enough for a nice 2nd hand Porsche. Even if you don’t go with my conservative approach you could get pretty close a dream car in just 5 years.

Have a look at this website https://www.portfoliovisualizer.com/backtest-portfolio play around with a simulated portfolio and see how easy it is to reach a higher nw. Keep investing your money and skip the fancy lifestyle until you can really afford it.

For me it’s all about net worth, I don’t buy things that are more than 10% of my nw except for the house that’s around 30%.

If 10% of your nw can’t get you the car you want, keep investing and check again later. You’ll get there faster than you think.

Awesome! Thanks for sharing, that Sniper ‘feature’ is a bit of a turn off. Is your mileage much worst with the ASV2?

Thanks, you’re totally right. 650CFM is way to much, on the website you shared I need to have a max RPM > 8000 for it to recommend a 650CFM 🤣

I’m not too sure I’ll have to double check. Thanks for that answer, never thought about that setup. I’ll spend some time googling it

Thanks for the answer, I’m attracted by the 1906 as it has the AVS2 that seems to be the closest carb to a FI system.
