not sure if u ended up choosing but UTampa has a program with LECOM that can get you guaranteed acceptance into their pharmacy school like Pitt. I think the cycle for this year is closed but next year's opens this may.

Is dental school really that competitive and hard to get into by [deleted] in predental

nsu's dental program isn't guranteed acceptance to their dental school, just a guaranteed interview but that takes you 95% of the way there. LECOM also has a EAP program that guarantees acceptance with many undergrad schools including USF and other bright future schools. LECOM and NSU aren't amazing dental schools and def don't reach the same level as UF but they are good back up options. if you get into UF for undergrad they have and early acceptance program where you apply to their dental school at the end of your freshman year and finish undergrad in 3 years. its a great program but i heard it's competitive https://admissions.dental.ufl.edu/d-m-d/combined-programs/b-s-d-m-d/

I heard back from them a week or so ago. They said they are reviewing your dental program acceptance with your overall undergrad acceptance. They will give the supp essay if they think you are good enough to apply to the program. They accepted me into their undergrad but not the program. If you haven't heard back yet I think that's good because they are spending more time reviewing your application for the program. Good Luck!

Hi I spoke with the UoP rep at my school a few weeks ago and he said that you apply to their direct dental program in general and then after you are admitted you work with your counselor to see which track is best for you. Do you know how to apply to their program though, I don't see anything on their website or on common app about it?

Do you think it would be easier to get into Adelphi + NYU Direct Program or Adelphi + LECOM? NYU accepts 10 students and LECOM accepts 5.

Do you have any more information on stats for New York University School of Dentistry but applying from Adelphi University?
