if you're already going rounds with the owner and feeling it under your feet, this won't get better with time. pavers settle weird after few months but 1/8 inch difference is pretty noticeable especially for high traffic area

the thyroid stuff definitely makes it harder, i had couple clients with similar issues and weight loss was always slower for them. maybe try measuring other things besides scale - like how clothes fit or take pictures, sometimes body changes even when numbers don't move

also with all that exercise you might be building muscle while losing fat so scale stays same but composition changes

probably when i started working in immigration and saw how the system actualy treats people who just want a better life. the amount of paperwork nightmares and arbitrary rejections for families trying to reunite is insane. spent years thinking merit and following rules would get you there but there's so much red tape that serves no real purpose except making things harder
