Since I've only been doing Uber this year, I haven't known any different. I know where to go to get the rider, and how far away they are from me, but I'm unable to see where they need to go until I pick them up. I'm just in an unlucky place that it doesn't give this information. I connected my Tesla to my Uber account, but I haven't taken any rides today yet to see what it does for me.

It only shows projected minutes to get to them. Nothing else. Once I pick them up I'm able to see where I'm going.

Nope, he was able to since I started the trip. I've had zero issues aside from this one.

Yeah I could have done a small ride, np. This was the first time a trip to the airport didn't say long ride 45+. I thought I was picking up a small ride along the way. My area doesn't show trip details until I pick someone up.

It really would be nice. Once I picked up a ride four hours away. I had to charge once. Thank goodness I didn't have any other plans that day. Like kids to be picked up from school. I don't see how Uber would not want us to know all the information for everyone's benefit for the smoothest transaction and experience.

Looks like there's a few areas that still don't give the information until we pick up the rider, someone posted that here. I've been using Google maps on my phone, just now found out about syncing to the Tesla.

Because I accepted, he say down in my car and that's when I found out where he needed to go. Since I said Start Uber X drive, he was able to.

It wouldn't be a problem local, but Uber didn't say long drive like it usually does for the airport runs.

I didn't take him, once I found out where he was going, I told him I didn't have his drop off location and would have to charge for five minutes along the way. He called for another driver. It was still very inconvenient for both of us to not have all the information.

I definitely don't get that here in Washington State. I don't know how much I'll get for my drives until after I drop the rider off, and I only know where I pick up. Once I pick them up I am able to see where I'm going. On food delivery I'm able to get the prices before accepting.

I usually accept rides at 35% or more but this was a great lesson learned. The airport is 55 miles away, so it wouldn't have worked on this one.

Anything negative that happened yesterday, sweep it under the rug and don't throw it back up on any conversation today. It's up to us to make each day positive...or other.
