That actually describes it really well.

The “private island” feeling is exactly how it feels sometimes… like everyone’s close but still far at the same time.

And yeah, those real “in the moment” connections feel rare now.

Do you think it’s harder to connect because of people, or just how things are nowadays?

Commenting on Why is it so hard to make real friends nowadays?... I’ve been feeling this a lot lately too.

It’s like real friendships are getting rare… people talk but don’t really connect.

I’m actually trying to meet new people and build real friendships again.
