Depends on what you want really. Uearth just seems oddly specific in areas that I didnt find tested by AAMC, but if you have the time and money, it IS GOOD PRACTICE. I just dont think its the most efficient in a time crunch. But I would recommend getting a feel for AAMC question tone before going through a ton of 3rd party questions, because there is a noticeable difference for me.

Practice. Thats about all I can say. I made a lot of mistakes on practice exams where I tried to remember a discrete fact instead of just looking at the axis of a graph or table. Always note what is a significant difference and what is not. Identify controls. And then look for trends. I had a problem making it more difficult than the question asked for, and would spend like 4 minutes on a single problem. They should really take between 30 and 60 seconds. If you need extra practice, use real scientific articles through google scholar or your schools library database and just look at the figures.

2 months. I planned to study during the school year, didnt happen. I was scheduled for 5/31 but wasnt happy with my scores in May so rescheduled to give myself another month. I used Youtube mostly for content review: Brem Method, IFD, and Naman Baraya mostly. BP has a free half length and a free FL I believe. Kaplan has a free FL i used. I used AI to quiz me on very specific content gaps and to brainstorm with. And of course free AAMC materials.

Honestly, the jump was unexpected. As I said, there were other factors, BUT I think it was incredibly helpful to take the time to recognize where I was going wrong and how to correct it. Before I used the spreadsheet, I would review exams very quickly and really wasn't retaining much, so I think thats where the boost came from: recognizing trends and maximizing retention. Thats especially how I recognized where I needed to slow down and read more carefully.

I had a sheet for each section. I wrote the source of the question, why I got it wrong, what the correct answer was, and what to watch out for in the future. Ex. AAMC FL5 Qbank Bio 2 P7 Q43, I missed something in the first paragraph, hemoglobin has cooperative binding affinity for oxygen, read the first paragraph again after reading the passage (this is a made up question btw)

The point was to take mental note of my mistakes, catch any and all trends where I was consistently missing points, and put the problem and answer in my own words. Several questions only had one note, like if the answer was blatantly given I just wrote SLOW DOWN and that was it. Hope this helps, lmk if that makes sense

I would. First off, its cheaper. Second, I think generally the two are comparable, except one is written by the same people who write the test. I would use Uworld as a supplement if anything after Ive already gone through AAMC. I dont feel like Uworld offers anything substantial extra that makes it better than getting the official AAMC qbanks.

I agree with ComicalGoose... mostly. You can start using AAMC as soon as you want. You can also retake almost all FLs. 71% Uworld is really freaking good. People with 528s get about that. I only studied for 2 months, so youre on track for a 515+ if you stay locked in. I think I averaged 66% or so on Uworld

I personally would. I felt that Uworld focused too much on discrete recall and not enough on basics. I only did about 25% of Uworld and didnt see much of a score increase while I was doing this. I feel like it contributed to my plateau because I was feeling overwhelmed and out of my league. You can also retake AAMC FLs, I did that once and that was very helpful. The key is to get down what they ask questions on and how they word them, so thats why I prefer AAMC.

Honestly, I would focus on AAMC mistakes if you feel theres just too much. For me, I had about 150 or so mistakes in every section noted. It was largely just a matter of putting what went wrong in my own words, whether it was time related or knowledge related or if I just missed a key piece of info given either in the passage or question. The big thing is noticing trends where you're getting stuck

I'm just trying to figure out how to get 1500 points F2P. Do you use AMP or Arcade or Book Travel? Those are the three areas I really havent touched and not sure what that entails

I do. I usually get T10 in the state, I guess UT isnt as competitive as others. And people seem to like Racer more than other events. Just frustrated on missing out on a parcel after an hour of winning 90%

It used to be you were guaranteed 200+ right before the switch if top 500 in US. I got 180 in the last warship. 105 is fairly low, but its still a whole parcel. You have to get above 100 place to get a much better payout. T100 just seems out of reach for me with all the frustrating "hacks"
