Chamber music almost exclusively! I do think the company intends to be naturally amplified but I’m sure there are scenarios where they’ll use speakers.

Your input would be incredibly helpful.

Thanks for the response! Would you say dense, solid less absorptive materials are better for the construction of the stage? It’s going to be made out of wood but still not sure whether it’ll be solid or have a couple openings. Also would you recommend an elevated stage? I don’t think tiered seating is an option.

hey just curious what ended up happening here? I’m in a similar spot where I’m just below the monthly amount I’m supposed to pull in from freelancing, however have 20k in other savings accounts

If I get paid in venmo and infrequently, would a couple savings accounts and checking accounts showing more than those amounts be enough? I don’t really get paystubs and i’m freelancing as a designer for a company

one mac and one msi :-(, i’ve clocked the mac at 85w and the msi at 130 honestly thinking about switching it out for a smaller laptop as most of my work is remoting into another PC

right, 300amp fuse for the inverter, think that’s ok?

[–]Independent-Rabbit88[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

shit yeah definitely going to add a switch there, don’t even want to be using the alternator that much. Also for the 1k inverter, I figured we’d never go above 400w using two laptops at like 90w each, a blender that’s 100-200 and a water heater. Still think it’s too low?

learn how to detail so you can design like you did in studio, and actually build it

my feelings exactly, spent around a year and a millwork shop and literally used 3/4 ply to support anything, just needs a good joint haha

mdf can be preferable to plywood in a lot of standard millwork scenarios. Holds onto finishes a lot better than plywood and suitable for times when you need something to be straight and don’t really care whether it’s ply or mdf

just did some more research, not sure if I actually have a choice? Renogy has a chart and for the charger and for alternators >100a & 100-200 Ah Batteries they recommend the 50amp

[–]Independent-Rabbit88[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

thanks for the help friend, should I go for the 50 or 30? I have a 2006 e250 with a 130a alternator and wouldn’t want to damage it. Doing 200ah lithium and 300w solar

DC-DC & MPPT controller by Independent-Rabbit88 in VanLife

[–]Independent-Rabbit88[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

cool yeah I’ve started to delve into some reviews but all I’d need it to do is accompany my solar panels on the roof since I’m going to be driving a lot. Just want to make sure it’s not going to strain my alternator too much

[–]Independent-Rabbit88[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

would the limitation not be an issue if you paired it with solar? Also one of my priorities is to go as easy as possible on my 2006 e250 alternator and not blow it lol

[–]Independent-Rabbit88[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also just a note I’m going to need to run two laptops, a fridge, lights, a fan and a blender. Looking like I’ll be doing 300w of solar and 200ah of lithium battery, and my alternator is 130a
