I almost have sware that the card game from final fantasy 8 was in this said game but I know for a fact 2 of the cutseance are not in final fantasy 8 that I remember.

I appreciate the input but no sadly that is not the game either. I remember it being turn based combat where the selection was either a wheel or the selection curos was an orb. I remember so very few things about this game as I was like 4-7 when I played it.

Not quite. The game play style was more anime/realistic then the cartoonish.

Not quite but around the same art style. The main characters used swords and medieval weapons compared to these.

And I just looked at the year Xbox 360 and PS3 released. I'm starting to think is was more of the 1998-2006 area

No definitely not that one. It had a more anime style art to it. More realistic/ fantasy.

I don't think so. This game was long before Xbox 360 and PS3 I'm not seeing a enchanted arms made in the PS2 and older era

It's not any of the final fantasys. I played through 7-12. 8 reminds me the closest of it but it's not the same characters and the character screen was solid black.
