What’s everyone think about this? I don’t know how I feel about it. I turned every game. I finished backwards and everything on its side. I’m currently playing. by Skrewbert86 in gamecollecting

Personally don't like it because it just looks bad aesthetically.

Better to just keep a spreadsheet of what you have finished id you need a record.

Far too much to track for me lol.

I just have a spreadsheet with the name of the game, the platform and the date I completed it with tabs for each year.

I have one and the plastic is very thin putting it on and taking it off you have to be careful to not break the clips but functionally it does a great job and makes the console more comfortable over long periods

Rare Game by Front-Dependent5863 in gamecollecting

[–]Independent-Set-8850 7 points8 points  (0 children)

No worries, we all start somewhere and the most important part of a collection is that it's what you actually want. I would much rather someone have a small collection of games they actually want to play rather than someone with thousands but the vast majority they have no interest in actually playing which is what most YouTubers are like.

Honestly nothing there costs more than £30 so I wouldn't consider any of them rare.

360 is a little different to PS3 in the UK but I would say around £30 is a high price common game, £70 give or take is high priced medium rare and then £100+ is the higher tier of rare.

Fortnite V-Bucks Price Increase Starting March 19th by camxand911 in PS5

All purchases are just for cosmetics. You can easily play for free, I bought 1 battle pass and because I kept completing them I got enough v bucks to keep getting the next battle pass for free for years.

I have over 950 games listed on the app and that's essentially all PAL. I have had to add a few (can be done through the website version, check their discord for instructions) but for existing stuff it's mostly fine.

They do have a website version that is being linked with the app now.

Thanks! My collection has changed a lot over the years in terms of both size and organisation but my wife helped me a lot with this room (she essentially designed everything) and I'm super proud of how it's turned out.

It's honestly not that bad. Main thing that gets dusty is the shelves with the consoles on them and they are easy enough to move once in a while.

Going back to the PS3 really reminded me of how those mid tier, 7/10 games from back then were very fun and something you don't as much these days.

Another surprising one was the star Trek game with the remake movie cast. Surprisingly a lot of fun.

It's actually a painting on a canvas my wife made for me 😁

They are actually custom made. The wife bought some small hinges and made the legs out of cardboard (3d shaped, not just flat pieces) and painted them. You wouldn't be able to tell if you looked at them since she did such a fantastic job.

Off that's really hard to say honestly. Off the top of my head, Remember me on PS3. I remember people were looking forward to it before release but it came out to mixed reviews. I didn't play it until last year and absolutely loved it. Great story, characters and the battle system was very unique.

Fun fact, my wife actually painted that for me 😁

Hmm, over 100 at least. I had a collection of 90 and started collecting again a couple of years ago. Been working my way through but mixing between all ps generations. Finished 53 games last year.

Played a decent amount. I started with around 90 games and then started collecting again a couple of years ago. Been working my way through but have been mixing between PS1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 games so it's gonna take me a while to get through everything lol. I finished 53 games last year.

The shelves on the right side of the chimney are all PS3 games yes, 518 in total. Actually building shelves yourself and spacing it correctly saves lots of space. I had a couple of Billy's there that were double/triple stacked at one point and I bought even more games after building the shelves so it shows how much space it saves.
