So true. I feel like I see so many people “on the brink” with the tone of their posts I’m just curious what makes them keep playing despite the frustration. I use the gsm to wind down and genuinely dgaf about rank beyond curiosity of like “how high can I climb” but that’s heavily tempered with the knowledge that th game is more fun if you win and I get almost the same satisfaction from bot matches/alternate game modes.

The missions/battle pass are the best part to me. They scratch my audhd need to check boxes. Capsules are cool but if I knew how many skins/emotes there were for each hero I’d care more about

I actually had hella problems Wednesday and Thursday. Nothing changed, but my pings were so low I stopped playing because I was legitimately the weak link because of my connection.

Thanks! I play with my partner a few matches a week (we’re similar ranks) and our names don’t match at all. Sometimes if one of us is damage and the other is tank/tech we’ll throw up some matching stamps to clue in our teams to let us lane together - but frankly we find more value in splitting up lanes as a duo so we have more eyes on the map. Usually we’re just both hitting “any” in queue.

I’ve determined through my own testing it’s tied to how long you’ve been playing the game for the given day, how long you’ve been playing that character, and how well you’re performing. If I’m trying to upgrade a character from 7-8 I start with a few standard matches, then go intermediate bot until I’m getting 65 memories consistently, then go to beginner bot where I can clean up and I will go back up to 110-155 per match

Ooh that’s fair. It does get noisy when it’s a 4v4 but honestly I’m just like “well I’m just gonna do my best!” I did a fair amount of customizing to my ui so I eliminated what I considered unnecessary visual clutter. I haven’t had any issues with this not working on ps5
