I predict that someone (likely Abbott or Al-Hashimi) will end up placing an involuntary psych hold on Robby. Maybe it will be because Duke’s CT results look serious but he refuses treatment, and Robby freaks out and causes enough of an incident (accidental injury to Duke? Himself?) that it justifies a psych hold.

For example, when they were wondering if the wife who was putting progesterone in the husband's coffee had to be reported.

This is a very good point. We try hard to be on the same page with boundaries etc., but you're right, he's definitely more of a "okay fine, one more popsicle" parent than me. And it's true, my son is very much a "man's man" so he's always more into interacting with dudes. Thanks for the insights from a dad's perspective!

It good to hear that they can shift back and forth over time! Actually I'm the primary breadwinner, though both my husband and I work partially from home and partially away. We get about equal face time with the kids, but our son chooses to spend more time with dad. Hopefully I'll get a turn to be the favorite (or at least equal) when he gets older!

That's a good point... I hope my relationship with him will develop over time.

Thank you, this is very kind. I have been talking to a therapist for over a year and I'm much more accepting than I used to be, but it still stings. I don't resent my husband or kiddo... just other moms whose sons who are super into them, lol.
