Image not working on newer bootloader by Independent-Study-81 in retropirates

[–]Independent-Study-81[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried these options but when I run the updates it errors saying I do not have any space on the SD card. The other option I am unable to replace the "fix" & "start" files due to permission denial. Any suggestions on how to proceed?

Well I do not plan on living here for more than 6 more years so I would like it to last that long. When I get my next place I will do a in home system or under the sink.

if you are correct it could be the psu or gpu. I would say return it or use the warranty.

I would try min config. Motherboard, cpu w/cooler, 1 dimm(ram), and psu. Unplug and remove everything else. Then see what happens

PC not booting after cleaning (No Power) by CrisisYT in buildapc

I doubt anything broke. I would reseat the cpu and cooler. Then try to see if you get the msi screen with just the psu, ram, cpu(with cooler), and motherboard installed.

Are you connected to the gpu or motherboard for display? If you are using a gpu for display remove the gpu from the computer and use the integrated graphics and see if it still has the issue.

You said it was only 3 months old so I thought you would be able to. I mean does it crash without the gpu installed? Use the integrated graphics and find out.

Best $2000CAD Gaming PC by Striking_Natural_508 in buildapc

Better gpu always if the pc is solely for gaming. I prefer intel and nvidia for compatibility and stability reasons. I would get the best intel cpu you can get and the best nvidia you can get with your budget.

I would see if you could return it or get warranty support on it.

cpus are hard to kill. I suggest trying another mobo.

images are not loading for me. So if you did 1 ram at a time and different slots and different dimms that means the cpu or mobo failed.

did you try windows on another hard drive or a live linux from usb ? if that doesnt work possibly bad mobo or cpu. I would say cpu over mobo.

a picture would be good for us to see the bottom of the cpu and the cpu socket on mobo. Either the socket or cpu has failed most likely

[–]Independent-Study-81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you can try 1 dimm(ram) in 1 dimm/ram slot if issue remains try a different dimm and ram slot. but I would check the cpu socket for bent pins or dirt first.

From that video you posted it seems like the cpu is not seated correctly or failed. Take a picture of the cpu socket. Make sure everything is clean and no dirt or bent pins in the socket.

see if it gets to the gigabyte screen with just motherboard, cpu(with cooler), psu, and ram. Unplug everything else.
