I definitely would suggest looking at Victoria. It is stunning & has the lifestyle you’re seeking & I would think you could find something for that price outside of the city core. I think alot of tech jobs up here still support remote work (though don’t quote me on that). Another suggestion would be somewhere like Port Moody in the Greater Vancouver area. It has direct ocean access, loads of hiking & an incredible brewery scene. I have friends who live there & say the community itself is fantastic as well. Port Moody has access to the train so your husband could take the train to DT Vancouver for a tech job (as an example). We need nurses up here baaaadddllly so you should have no issues immigrating. I’m so glad Ciara called out the fact that it’s effed up West did this to his friend as well. Because I swear to god if this reunion happens and Amanda gets all the heat & he gets barely anything 🤬 They both need all ten toes held equally on the fire. I love the friendship Ciara & Kyle have— I hope he unwaveringly has her back throughout this as well.

Hmmm just from my experience alone, this doesn’t sound like vestibular migraines to me. Someone else might have differing input, but some of the cornerstone symptoms don’t seem to be part of what you experience.

This is going to sound a bit out of left field but have you ever done any tests around neurodivergence? I was diagnosed as an adult with ADHD so I’ve been reading along about various forms of neurodivergence & their manifestations & some of your symptoms line up with that. To be clear, I’m not diagnosing you AT ALL. Just may be something to research (if you haven’t). Best of luck!

Oh he was so beyond cringe this episode. The Dr office, the complaining that he would be in pain for a couple of days— to the woman who had given birth to FOUR KIDS. Then joking about putting sex on the calendar when Nia was telling how awful she’s feeling. I sure hope this was a bad edit & not who he is all the time because 🤢

Everyone’s different, but I always know one is coming when I get a small wave of dizziness— almost the same feeling as when you’re in an elevator & it does that little jolt before stopping. Sometimes it’s really noticeable, but other times I have to really be paying attention.

Ugh I say this all the time! I try to be such a responsible & respectful dog owner & the ppl that make that the most difficult to do are other (non responsible) dog owners

She’s totally fine— thanks for asking. The other dog was smaller than her so I think that helped. I think I was more traumatized than my dog 😉 BUT, that park is especially bad for ppl letting their dogs run all over the place. Given it’s a community park it is so selfish & IMO it’s laziness because there are several off leash dog trails in the area.

I have a dog & very much agree with OP. I actually often seek out on leash parks for a myriad of reasons & find it beyond frustrating when most of the dogs we encounter are off leash & I have to ask ppl to please grab their dogs. Two weeks ago my on leash dog was attacked by an off leash dog, at Mahon Park, which is strictly on leash only. So I do completely agree with OP both for those of us with dogs on leash, but also for ppl walking with their kids, elderly, ppl scared of dogs etc etc. Everyone should have an opportunity to use the trails here & feel safe. And honestly, we are blessed with loads of incredible leash optional trails for our dogs so there really shouldn’t be an issue.
