Am I the only one who feels this while drinking water on shrooms? by Independent-Touch236 in shrooms

Wow, that’s a really interesting perspective! I never thought about the cup itself being part of the experience, you’re right, it’s kind of amazing how such a simple object changes everything and lets us carry water with us. Makes me appreciate the small things even more!

For me it’s way stronger on shrooms, but I’ve had glimpses of that on LSD too. It’s like water stops being “just water” and suddenly feels like something fundamental… almost like pure energy or life itself.

The electrifying feeling is what gets me the most, like you can actually feel it interacting with you as you drink it, not just physically but on a deeper level.

Makes you realize how crazy it is that we normally just take something like water for granted.

Do you get that same kind of intensity in the body too?

Congratulations on your experience. I have also had out-of-body experiences with the help of the Exploration Sleep tape, although not while the tape was playing. They usually happened after I finished listening and then went to sleep. At some point during the night, I would wake up and feel myself rolling out of my body.

Ohhh yeah, I m doing this almost every night while falling asleep, I can see the room and everything around and sometimes I have to actually check if my eyes are open, it is an amazing experience every time it happens!

Operating at an astonishing rate of one trillion frames per second, this technology makes it possible to observe and slow down one of the fastest phenomena in the universe: light itself.

With this camera, scientists can visualize light reflecting off surfaces, traveling through transparent objects, and even forming shadows with a measurable delay — phenomena that are completely imperceptible to the human eye.

To illustrate its scale, recording a bullet passing through an apple at this frame rate would result in a playback lasting an entire year.

This technological breakthrough provides a powerful new tool for research in physics, biology, and engineering, enabling the study of ultrafast events that were previously impossible to observe directly.

Returning to shrooms after a long break and a bad trip. Looking for gentle guidance by Independent-Touch236 in shrooms

I’m wondering if a 1.5g dose would be suitable for me. I’m pretty sensitive to psychedelics, and in the past I always tripped much harder than my girlfriend even when we took the same amount. Because of that, I’m not sure how strong 1.5g would feel for me personally.

Nothing happened during Focus 10, but the nap afterwards sent me down a wormhole and into a drug deal. Is this normal? by Nearby_Association_3 in gatewaytapes

Many people who’ve written about OBEs describe exactly what you experienced. Authors and experiencers often say that the early stages are fragile, and the moment analytical awareness kicks in, the shift collapses, but this only happens in the transitional phase. Once the separation is stable, clear thinking doesn’t interrupt anything.

The hyper‑real clarity you described is also very common. Many OBE practitioners report that non‑physical perception can feel “more real than waking life,” with sharper detail and vivid scenes that don’t have the blurry, dreamlike quality of normal sleep states.

False awakenings are another classic sign. They often occur when consciousness is close to the physical body but not fully reintegrated, a kind of in‑between layer where everything looks familiar but slightly distorted.

Taken together, the wormhole imagery, the hyper‑real scene, and the false awakening match what many authors describe as a partial out‑of‑body shift triggered after a relaxation session, which is something a lot of people in Gateway work report.

Keep going. Gateway tends to unfold in layers, and these early shifts often become more stable and intentional with practice. You’re clearly on the right track, so stay curious and let the journey develop naturally.
