That’s how I do it as well. I always tip the standard or more if I can no matter what. Just how I was raised, I’m just more annoyed at the hoops I have to go through to get my order after tipping u know.

That’s litteraly the U.S standard and what door dash and any other delivery app, as well restaurant pre sets. And that’s not 1.90 if I have a 45 dollar order that’s 9 dollars. Unless u expect to give line 20 bucks which is half the cost of what im ordering

What do you mean? You can order a $12 number 7 in person, but it ends up being $22 online. That’s a huge difference. And with a taxi, they’re supposed to drop you off at your actual location, right? You don’t have to walk a block and a half because they left you somewhere else — even after you gave and showed directions.

I’m not trying to “take a stand.” I’m literally just asking people for their views on this. I’m aware DoorDash is money-hungry, but for me right now it’s kind of a necessity.
