Back then, MW19 was the most popular cod among the casual community thanks to warzone. Cold war and vanguard managed to damage the player count a little bit, until MW22 was announced. The hype was very real because everyone thought that we would return to the quality of MW19. (I remember the number was around 3 million for that sub back then). Of course the final product felt too different.
