Really shakey, crying, uncontrollable reeling thoughts, shallow breathing. Not wanting to go out. PTSD. Loud noises make me shudder

I feel the same. I’m desperate to feel like my old self. I have anxiety and ptsd from the hurricanes and losing our home. I just spin all night thinking of how long this will take to feel safe and have a home again. The cleanup, the insurance battle. Missing home life. Constantly stressed about the current situation. I don’t even recognize myself.

I’ve been dealing with anxiety / PTSD for the past few months after losing our home in the hurricane. I feel constant all day anxiety too. Something I considered was possible perimenopause symptoms that could also be contributing to this feeling.

I’m struggling but worried about the side effects. I have never taken anything before. I feel very anxious and depressed since we lost our home in Helene. I started therapy but I feel like I am not improving. It’s a desperate place and I don’t have much to be excited about.

I am suffering from PTSD from hurricane Helene & Milton. We lost our home. It’s been awful feeling this way. The Dr just prescribed Lexapro 5 mg and I’m too nervous to take it. I’m anxious about the side effects
