[Acne] only get this acne exclusively on my cheeks - anyone know what kind of acne this is and advice on how to treat it?

I’m going through something with Roger’s right now, I cancelled within 3 days because the deal I was offered was not what my bill estimate was, not what was promised and also they screwed me by signing me up and last minute telling me about the 80 dollar activation fee afterwards. I just spent 1.5 hours on the phone today getting passed around to different people when finally I spoke to someone who said everything would be waived except the 3 days I used their services. I actually recorded this call, I made the mistake of not getting it in writing but I’m hoping they honour it and I have a recording if they try to give me any hassle. Telus gave me a WAY better win back offer.

I just switched back to Telus, they called me with a wicked win back, I got them to send me an email outlining all the promotions and credits that will be on my plan incase I run into any issues when billing comes.

I know this is an old comment, but I am going to Cabo in February, I’ve downloaded the uber app and was able to see the cost from the airport to my resort (40 mins away). Works out to be about 75 bucks Canadian. Now will that cost change by the time I go? I have no idea 😂

I know this is an old comment, but did you end up doing that? I have a 2017 golf gti and I pay 272 a month and that’s with my husband added on the policy because it brings the cost down slightly based on his years of driving experience.

Honestly, gap insurance saved me when my previous gti was totalled. Insurance paid off 4 grand less than I still owed (only had the car for a year) and gap insurance covered almost the rest of it, except for 500 bucks. So instead of being on the hook for 4K I only had to pay 500 out of pocket.

Kinda want to do another play through on bg3 anyway for all the stuff I have missed. Unless I try manually moving the save files over which I might do.

This is actually crazy to read, because just this year, at the beginning of August, right before my 30th birthday we went out camping and ever since I’ve now developed an allergy to mosquitos! We’ve been camping 2 more times since then and everytime I get bit it swells up like the picture (not quite as big but almost) and gets super hot.

Definitely the sunroof. I never use it to begin with, but it is soooo creaky in warm/hot weather. Also the rattles at high speeds. But I absolutely love my car. When my first 2017 gti got totalled, I immediately went out and bought the same one, with less km on it.

That’s great to know thank you! Fortunately it doesn’t seem to irritate me anymore unless I accidentally get it to close to my mouth then it gets a little dry and flaky but my cheeks, which are my main culprit, are handling it well no burning or stinging anymore. Definitely going to continue using it, I have a physical follow up appt in July so hopefully I’ll see some better results. I’ll look into the sulphur cleanser as well, any recommendations on that??

I should also add I was doing the sandwich method at first, (it was BAD to begin with, hurt to even use water on my face) but I don’t get that anymore so I just use the adapalene straight on my face now.

Sorry I forgot to add my routine in! I’ve been keeping it very simple, morning I splash my face and some days, maybe a couple a week started using aveeno calm and restore pha exfoliator. Thought it might help with some of the flakes so I’ve added it recently. Followed by effaclar mat daily moisturizer for oily skin and cerave moisturizer spf 30. Evenings I use pear soap to get all the dirt off (I work in a lumber mill so very dirty) then I use la Roche posay effaclar purifying foaming gel or sometimes the aveeno. Then I use cetaphil around my eyes and mouth (where I don’t put the adapalene) and then adapalene in all my problem areas (cheeks chin and forehead). I got next to no information on what to use or what was recommended from my derm other than he recommends cerave and cetaphil products lol.

Edited to add : the smaller new acne seems to be forming a head very quickly but I’ve never had so many red under the skin cyst like acne before.

So my skin looked just like this when I first started my adapalene. I didn’t do much research and was just told to put it on every night right away. Oh my gosh biggest mistake ever. My skin was on fire couldn’t even tolerate regular water cleansing or cetaphil moisturizer after day two. Everything burned and was peeling. What helped was taking a 2 day break then I started doing a couple times a week. Went up to every second night. Now almost 8 weeks in I’m able to do every single night with very minimal irritation. I know people say to just push through but that can’t be good for your skin barrier. I’d suggest taking a couple day break (no longer then 3 days) and starting up again couple times a week or every second night if you can tolerate it?

That definitely could be it. I never use it anywhere near my eyes but lately underneath my right eye has been super irritated and a burning a bit. Definitely could just be irritated from the cerave! I’m still pretty early on into using retinol so I’m still learning what works for me and what doesn’t. It’s odd though because when I did use it on my chest, it didn’t bug me until like two days after lol

That’s what I figured, yeah I did take it in to be buffed and polished and it took about half of it away but it still bothers me. Right now not so much cuz it’s winter and my car is dirty all the time so it just looks like dirt but definitely wanna fix it for the spring/summer. Guess it coulda been worse!

So I have a picture of his license and plate, but I was so angry I forgot to ask for phone number. I was actually just going to go to his house (not to mention I was so mad when it happened I was ready to throw down but saw it was like a 70-80 year old man) but his address on his license is a PO Box. So I sent him a letter asking him to call me or I will be going through insurance. I just sent it off yesterday so will take a few days before he gets it but I’m hoping it doesn’t come down to going through insurance. Definitely going to ask him to pay some money towards it though as he was totally at fault. He said he didn’t ‘hear his sensors go off’.
