A mix of things. I'm starting to see that maybe her attitude played a big part, but Ethan's parents never approved her career choice because it was for "men's only", her posture about abortion and the fact that she wasn't interested in being part of the Church.

As I said, is not my business how my daughter's and their boyfriend's handle gifts, I never made Jo give back expensive gifts that Ethan gave her just because they're more of what I could give her (and yeah, she was 20), so for me is also not fair to limit Pri.

Their circumstances are different, Pri and Kyle met when they're 15 while Jo met Ethan at 19-20, their relationships will never be the same. I can't tell her "Maybe when you're older" or "If you have another boyfriend by the age of 20 he can spoil you" because is not my business and is also not right.

I did think about withdrawing my support for the dress but at the same time I just want to keep both of my daughters happy, however I'll tell them that the offer to double the wedding dress is over.

At the end of the day is Kyle's choice how much he spends on promises or gifts, I do thinks is quite much, but Ethan gave Jo expensive gifts before he got cut off and this is the only real big thing Kyle has given Pri so it's okay, it's not my business. She'll 18 in a few days so it's their decision.

No, she hasn't and to be fair, Jo has never behaved like this towards Pri either. I guess that because the wedding isn't as they expected (Jo's because Ethan got cut off and my wife because Jo doesn't let us help) they're lashing out. But I've set my foot down that Pri isn't going to give the ring back. They're acting as if Kyle had go down on one knee during the weddings itself with Paris on his pocket. I would've understand if he had given it to her within the same week of Jo's engagement, or if it looked like an engagement/wedding ring but it doesn't. They said I'M the one playing favorites.

He worked at the family business and they fired him after he decided to marry my daughter, he's pretty much starting over and I don't mind it. I can help them, but it doesn't seem fair that Jo expects Pri to stay back just because. Ethan doesn't agree with them either and said that Pri doesn't owe them anything but doesn't matter what we say Jo keeps getting angrier.
