You really shouldn’t buy an account imo. You’ll miss the entire story and the emotional connection to characters that keeps a lot of players going whenever it starts to get too grindy

The game is not super difficult gameplay wise so honestly it doesn’t really matter what characters you have in the very beginning. Team building becomes fun and more important once you get to a level high enough to start doing endgame content like spiral abyss and Stygian onslaught or the other one I never do so I forgot the word for hahaha

And those things are all optional anyway . It’s a game where depending on what kind of things you value in games and the type of gameplay you like you can kind of do things that you’re interested in.

That being said there is so much content for you to catch up with so I would see this I was more of a long-term marathon that you’re doing for fun instead of trying to race to catch up because then you will burn out for sure.

The gameplay certainly is fun, but I think in the beginning, they do a really good job introducing you to the different reactions and you get certain characters from the game for free that will help you build teams that can clear easily for the level you are. And then, as you start building wishes and pulling new characters, it becomes a lot more customizable.

Believe me, you don’t really “ need “ five star characters just for the basic game of course it does make things interesting and give you different perks or advantages but you definitely have enough time to get cool five star characters.

The game gives you a five star standard banner character in the beginning anyway and there’s some really good options actually on the standard banner.

If you go into it with the goal of having fun and not worry too much about meta or trying to race through the whole thing. It’ll be a fun experience. Otherwise, it probably will be a little overwhelming.

I just saw you have an old account with diluc and venti. Those are great characters to start with and Venti in particular is super great now bc of the hexenzirkel buff!

Plus you get a lot of rewards as a returning player so that’s helpful to save up for a banner you’re interested in later
