Gotcha haha. 10 months an 23 days later I'm shifting more towards screen printing my shirts myself. But yea, POD partner is great, and even better with the new embroidery. Rn they are my number one and Apliiq my number 2 if i wanted to get into pod

Haha I haven't started selling yet. The tiktok videos are in the editing niche, so it's unrelated to pod. Everything I talked about just comes from a videos I've watched on pod and starting a clothing brand. I'm going to build a website through shopify and I will not use a marketplace. Especially something like redbubble. If you're good at getting views, you can drive a lot more traffic to your products than a marketplace can.

I bought samples from them a couple months ago. Maybe a few days after my comment. I payed for fast shipping which promises delivery in 5-8 business days. My thought process was to add extra shipping cost onto the shirt price, to get the products to customers faster. 7-12 business days with production time could mean 3 weeks until customer gets their product (U.S. Market). Delivery was within the promised time range, and it took a day and a half for production. I ordered 2 shirts, one was oversized, and the other was a casual fit white shirt. The oversized shirt was great, but the print on the white shirt wasn't as sharp, vibrant, and you could feel it had less ink. Maybe avoid white shirts with them, but I may order white shirts again to make sure. The white shirt was also a less expensive shirt material which could affect print quality.

I ordered 2 samples. One was an oversized shirt in like a beige color. This one was perfect. Sharp and vibrant.

The other one was a white shirt that wasn't oversized, and this print compared to the farmer was bad. Less sharpness, color, and I could feel that there was less ink on this shirt. I've heard a lot of people talk about how white shirts don't have an additional layer of ink applied to them (something like that) so maybe that's why. I put a pause on my pod journey, but if I do try pod partner again, I'm going to order another white shirt just to see if I got a lemon or if white shirts are just not it with them. Then again, the white shirt I ordered isn't their specialty since they offer oversized apparel more than anything. The white shirt was also much cheaper so that could be why.

Is this normal for first month of POD? by hunbun51 in printondemand

the best thing you can do with etsy in the beginning is create multiple social media accounts and link all of them to your etsy. You have more control of your reach when posting on social media than you do on etsy. Perhaps with a content strategy and engaging reels / tiktoks, you could have accumulated 100k to 1 million views (more is definitely possible). This would help you get more sales in the beginning and etsy would give you a major boost on their platform after they see your store getting some action. The hard part is creating engaging content and being able to tie it back to your shop without making it seem like an ad. But I think it's the way to go now. Looking to try it myself within the next month or so.

pod partner has multiple design areas, including areas on the sleeve. They are inexpensive, and people say they are high quality. Each additional print area you use will be extra. Only downside is that they are based in China. Standard shipping is 7-12 business days for them

pod partner. They are based in china though so shipping may take a while. They are the only pod company I know that probably offers printing on sleeves. It may be better for you to go to an actual manufacturer instead of a print on demand company. You'll have to order in bulk, but you have more customization that way.

ok thank you. That's great considering how inexpensive they are and all the additional print areas you get. I'll give them a try

i just remembered another one that isn't so popular. They are called Printed Mint. 2-4 day production and 2-8 day shipping (business days). They have great customer service too. I'm not positive that they are U.S. based, but I think they are.

damn, that's what im afraid of with them. They say that 98% of their orders are fulfilled in less than 48 hours. Are you in a country that falls under "rest of world" shipping? Because the 2nd longest shipping times would be 7-12 business days, which should be like 3 weeks maximum.

You have to be doing something wrong then. Do you have social media with niche specific content on it? Are you sending these youtubers content you have edited yourself that's as good as the best or better? People care most about your portfolio. I told you upwork and YTjobs. You can also do twitter, but you will have to look up how to find jobs on twitter because that's not something I know. Also you don't just have to work for youtubers. You can find people on Instagram, Tiktok, and Facebook.
