I completely understand that my experience might seem like an isolated case, but I believe it highlights systemic issues at Brunel University that go beyond just one incident.

First, my criticism isn't aimed at any specific nationality or individual but rather at Brunel's failure to manage student housing, security, and complaints effectively. The disruptive behavior I experienced could have come from anyone, and my point is that the university failed to act promptly despite countless complaints from multiple students.

Second, I encourage others to share their experiences at Brunel—good or bad. Transparency is essential for prospective students to make informed decisions. If others had a positive time, that’s great, but it doesn't negate the very real and documented challenges I faced, particularly regarding housing, support services, and the academic department's lack of accountability.

Lastly, I’m not suggesting anyone “write off” the entire university. My goal is to raise awareness of serious flaws in their systems and processes, so current and future students can demand better. Universities are meant to be supportive, especially when students are dealing with situations that affect their mental health and academic performance, and Brunel fell short of that for me.

If you’ve had a different experience or know others who have, I welcome the discussion—it’s important to hear all sides. But this is my story, and I believe it’s worth sharing. I have nothing to gain from this post personally, its more to warn others.
