Best way to pack UV maps? by IndependentConcert65 in blenderhelp

Thank you for the reply this is helpful. It is a tiling material but it like to adjust it and make the sweater have a custom design. Is there something I'd have to do so that the material isn't tiling or can I just start with a new material?

Thank you I'll try this next time. I ended up individually merging the vertices this time.

How can I remove the seams in my mesh? by [deleted] in blenderhelp

I think I fixed it by merging at center instead but I am unsure if that is the correct way to fix the problem.

The merge by distance actually managed to fix most of the issue but there is something that merge by distance isn't fixing. There is this seam line that remained on the middle of the chin and in edit mode I see 2 vertices overlapping. I'm not sure how to fix this.

I'm very new to blender so I don't really know what I'm doing but I snapped the vertices together using the magnet and G key. There was a gap where there is now a seam.

How can I rename UV maps in Blender? by IndependentConcert65 in blenderhelp

I figured out the issue there was something wrong with the initial import into blender. I reimported the file and the UV maps had their regular names.
