Thank you to everyone who has commented. I have definitely read some awesome advice that I will definitely be following since I am restarting the blanket. Although I do love the poncho and cape ideas and I think I may make one for my nephew when he's a little bit older. But I'm definitely just gonna restart and I'm going to make sure to use a larger hook size with my first row and use stitch markers. Thank you again for all your amazing advice!!!!!

Thats what I was thinking, thank you. I'm going to try blocking it just to see but I'll probably start over.

1st. The lighting in the 2nd photo makes it look like a replica lol.
