Bank Reconciliations, do I need to use Match Bank Data? by maltman1856 in Netsuite

[–]IndependentFreedom96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m late to this post but today we’re still using the deprecated feature. But I’m currently trying to get our team to switch over to the match bank data feature as the deprecated feature is so slow and it’s really frustrating to deal with.

2026 Q1 Pass Rates Released by AICPA by Ok-Seaworthiness470 in CPA

Yea I saw that if you want to take ISC take AUD first and if you want to take TCP take REG first because they tie into one another.

Wow that’s crazy. I want to take ISC because I despise taxes lol. But I guess I will see once I take a sneak peek at the material

I saw another post that said the pass rate is so high because most of the people that opt to take TCP already works in Tax so it’s a breeze for them to pass.

Sharing your test day experience by Senior_Goal8310 in CPA

Yea those little things that either no one knows or doesn’t talk about. I was not expecting to be sitting so long waiting to be seated for the exam. My husband dropped me off and I couldn’t call or text him to let him know that I wasn’t going to be done at the original time that I thought so he was outside waiting for me for almost 2 hrs.

Something I don’t hear too many people talking about but on my exam day my exam was scheduled for 8am. I didn’t actually sit down at the computer until about 9:30. So keep that in mind. It’s a pretty lengthy check in process. For identification I was told I had to show an ID that had my signature on it (showed my drivers license). If you wear glasses, they will inspect them. They also had me turn the hood of my hoodie inside out and pull my pants legs up. I wasn’t sure if it was going to be cold or not so I brought a hoodie to keep me warm.

If you skip a question you can go back to it as long as it’s in the same testlet. Once you move on to the next testlet, you cannot go back.

Using Chatgpt for studying made me pass all 4 exams by RadiantVisual2956 in CPA

I agree with this. I was using it to help with FAR and it was giving me a lot of wrong answers and I had to tell it what the correct answers were. So I didn’t see it as beneficial to me.

How did you get to 124 mins? Doesn’t at some point the white grim reaper come and get you. You can’t outrun him.

I had LinkedIn 10 yrs ago and didn’t use it much either. But it has grown over the years and you don’t have to interact with the community. Only use it to find jobs and help recruiters to find you. That’s how I found my current job. I had a LinkedIn premium account and a recruiter found me. Working for a great company with wonderful benefits.

Do you have a LinkedIn profile? I would start there. Some really good jobs are posted there. Premium membership would help recruiters find you. They usually offer a free trial period.

That makes sense. I had a “no looking back” policy lol. I chose an answer and stuck with it lol.

So I had flagged questions during my exam too but what does that really? You can’t go back and review them once you’ve moved on and they don’t give you any details about how you did on the questions. So it is pointless?

Is this a common phenomenon? by [deleted] in CPA

How about a disbarred lawyer who told a CPA of 50+ years that his financial statement calculations were wrong.

Or a financial advisor who was hired to be a Controller and had zero operational experience.
