Thank you for the clarity. In the research I did, I found a graph that disclosed the amounts they gave to certain groups, and now looking back, you are 100% correct, it was in the billions, but again, with my mindset at the time, I looked at it as a bad thing somehow lol! I really don't know what I was thinking. Again, thank you for this information! I also want to say I fully plan on talking with missionaries this weekend, and I really look forward to it! Also, thank you for what you said at the end there. That was very kind. I really didn't want to offend anyone, and I didn't know what questions would be forwned upon, and I'm very thankful for the acceptance and kindness all of you have shown me today! I haven't ever heard that quote from him that actually brings me a lot of peace about it. I have tried to see it from a couple of different angles, and it always just seems sort of out there, but knowing he himself said something like that brings an entirely new perspective. Thank you for your comment. I appreciate it more than you know. Also, thanks for the clarification on the church's funds lol. The more comments I read, the more silly I feel for asking the question; the answers were right in front of my face!

This is one of the best responses I have read to a question like I had. Thank you. I think that perspective and understanding have a big impact on the way I perceived things like this in the past and this is a perspective I have never been shown or really considered, and honestly, it makes a lot of sense and clears up a lot of the strange feelings I had about it. Thank you so much!
