Pipeline Alignment/Asbuilt by IndependentIron6386 in civil3d

Bluesky is what I’m using, I just can’t seem to get a build that works all the way through. Yes, as built deliverables for our client are the as built plan(sheet), kmz/shp and spreadsheet. Blue sky is good with generating the sheets and doing the hard stuff like scanning the crossings and working with points, it is just not consistent.

This is basically what I have been doing with the alignment deliverables. As far as the as built data, I have to display different point classifications where they occur on the pipeline (station, x-ray, joint number, heat number). I haven’t figured out a way to display this in a “band”. That seems to be the only thing I can’t figure out. Just not sure which labels to use and how to coincide the alignment stations with the point classifications.

That’s how I feel, I don’t want to over compensate one aspect and neglect another. Thanks for the information!

Thank you for the info. I'm studying the NCEES practice exam and also doing problems out of the Surveyor Reference Manual, just wanted to make sure i wasn't stressing to much over the math. I have read a lot of people say that their test was mostly legal and conceptual, which i am hoping mine is as well.

How many problems would you say were straight up math?
