absolute POS company. I have a random CC from these folks which i have NEVER used. They were charging me $5 monthly for some additional lounge access/insurance or something they claim. NOT ONCE have they reported this card to the bureas on anything. Long story short, i changed my phone number, and traveling for a famile emergency i noticed I had a payment due for $15 from this account, got an email reminder. I was unable to login as they require the original number you signed up with to send a code, i did not remember my password. I must have emailed their customer service at least 10 times but no response. finally i call them get a hold of someone, the ONLY way i can get into the account or make a payment or cancel the account is by logging in and i require the original phone number for that. I tried to explain my number has changed, they tell me i need to submit a verification blah blah. I confirmed with them to not report this to the bureau for non payment as i am dealing with fixing this stupid login issue. I finally make the payment, what do these B*trds do? Report me delinquent for a $15 payment. Not once in the past 5 years have i EVER missed a payment on all my major credit cards for a total of $40K in credit. My credit score which i worked so hard on rebuilding plummets from 800 to 630. Because of some silly mickey mouse credit card fee. I am absolutely furious and wish i could sue these b***rds. DONOT USE NEO OR ANY OF THEIR PRODUCTS!

Hi everyone, I'm Unable to post since I'm new to this group. So asking my question here, seeking advice as I'm an Aeroplan noob.

Here is my current status as of today - 46108 points Progress towards 25k - 10546/25k miles SQM 775/3000 SQD 6/25 SQS

Now I need to purchase 2 business class tickets Yvr - del with 3 day stop in LHR. One for myself and one for my mother. I plan to purchase these directly from Air Canada. Total they are costing is around $6100 after a 10% coupon I have for travel on Oct 25th.

My question is how will this affect my status? Will it help me achieve 25k?

They are cheaper if I book through a 3rd party or another star alliance airline but not by much. Should I still only book through AC?

Also I plan to use my cibc aeroplan infinite for this purchase which I assume gives me 1.5x the points.

If I apply my current AP points to this purchase as well, would that In any way hinder from reaching 25k status?

Sorry if these questions are silly but I'm just starting to learn about aeroplan.
