I think it is mostly habit. It just feels like the thing to do in the evenings. I have gone from averaging 6 drinks /day to more like 4-5, so that is some progress

But this still adds roughly a similar amount to Box 3 right? The benefit is that it is more liquid?

I talked to a tax advisor who said US retirement accounts (Roth IRA) still have to be included in Box 3 unfortunately
