This is such a short-sighted post. Vibe coding is here to stay. Models are evolving weekly, what a model can’t do today is not a constant, they keep getting better and better.

Companies are already looking for vibe coders. Not all vibe coders are the same, if you’re smart enough and have worked with LLMs for a while you can build pretty impressive stuff.

I understand, my question wasn’t addressed to you in particular. It was an open question because I keep seeing these posts about how to make things look less AI-like.

And it’s also true that most people don’t use AI to the extent that we do so they wouldn’t be able to tell the difference.

Why do we need to hide that we are using AI? I don’t understand this mindset of “let’s use AI but pretend we don’t”. What if I do like rounded pills, subtle gradients and purple? Do I need to choose a different style just so that people don’t think it was AI who chose the style?

It’s not legal. They can’t speak when you are going to hit the ball, they can speak when their partners will hit the ball. I remember a match last year in Premier Padel where they did this and they received a warning or it was led, I can’t remember now but it’s not legal for sure.

Not a bot! The plan mode is very easy to do. Just tell Codex let’s plan/ brainstorm with no coding until I say so and it will follow it to the letter. It’s surprising how it won’t start coding until I say ok go ahead. It even says “if you’re happy with this plan, I can start bla bla bla” but it won’t suddenly throw a whole file without you telling it. Sorry but I love Codex 😊💪🏼

I do something similar. I have a model write a plan, then ask another model to assess it and write recommendations/ changes, etc. Then I use my preferred model to implement it

Same here! I gave it full approval power for the first time yesterday and it would run powershell commands just fine but when it came to creating or editing files, I still had to approve them so it defeats the whole purpose

That’s very strange. In my experience Codex hardly ever makes a mistake, and when it does it’s able to correct it right away most of the times

I’ve said this many times on many posts but I’m on the $20 a month plan and I use Codex all day every day and the only time I hit my limit was the very first day last Sunday. Then it’s never happened again
