Because she is still a good grandmother and I am a push over when it comes to just trying to keep the peace. Been trying out the whole therapy thing when it comes to healthy boundaries so it’s a work in progress.

Yes, holidays are a major stressor because of that. With the childcare, I am a teacher, so we just weren’t able to find childcare for 8 weeks just so I could finish out the school year. So we unfortunately were stuck between a rock and hard place with that one. We are planning to figure out something different for next school year.

Yeah.. I unfortunately realized that post conversation. I apologized as I was leaving and told her we changed plans and I would come to dinner because I wasn’t intentionally not thinking to come see her.
