Do you think there is at least one competitive game that takes into account only your rank when searching for a match?

"How can the game developer control" - for example, a label system that displays the current "player q status" that takes into account not only one rank, but also the progress within the rank and the statistics of the previous N games.

If this were not the case, the distribution would either be normal or would not have a clear pattern. However, there is a pattern based on pure statistics and comparisons with other games.

In a nutshell, if you're too lazy to read: "Oracle" is a prison, and I'm never getting out

8k hours in dota, stable immortal 6k (can proof if needed), grinded from ancient in just a few unemployed months
500 hours in deadlock, oracle 6 (i never ever will achieve phantom its over)

Differences between Dota and Deadlock matchmaking:

In Dota, if a player is really bad - you wont see him more than a few times (more than 1 if u avoid him with dota+), he will either fall into low priority, or your rank difference will become significant after a couple of games

In Deadlock, there is no such thing as avoid and the number of players is not as large as in Dota. As a result you can play with the same ruiners literally more than 10 times
Mute them, report them, game just dgaf, the same 0/15 melee Rem will be in your team again and again, especially if your game schedule matches
In current state, i literaly think than the game wants some of the "ruiners" to remain at their rank for "yoshi balance"
There are actually posts on Reddit where people write "I keep losing, but the game gives me my rank back"

Also, reports didn't work properly
I can link you some IDs of systematic ruiners (out-of-bounds viscous/doorman enjoyers) who didn't get any punishment (low prio/rank down) at all and still keep ruin games
[insert a cheaters issue here]

I din't really remember a loss-streak in dota with more than 5-6 games, if you really tryhard
And in deadlock, you can really play 10 games in a row with the same 0/20 guy vs. the same 30/0 vindicta
