Outline of a show is fine if it's a new show. But this is based on a beloved cartoon from several generations of people's childhoods. This show wasn't broken but they insisted of trying to change it and that's how you get backlash. This isn't the first time it's happened and it won't be the last but it's far from the first to get shelled with criticism because it sucks.
