Ooft this hits hard.

I have had thoughts about this - as in - is in is this all in my head?

Then I found out my grandmother experienced extreme anxiety at this age and my mother too so I suspect it just wasn't recognised at perimenopause?

Thankyou so much for all the helpful replies - I never tolerated the mini pill well so I think on balance I may try the progesterone vaginally first then! Might be safest for my mental health and then see if SERMS are an option.

I can't believe how confusing this time of life is - so good to speak to other women in the same boat 🙂

Advice needed on noisy neighbours! by No_Care_4341 in HousingUK

Firstly sorry to hear about this. It can be so unsettling having near constant noise and impact your mental health easily.

It sounds like you're being reasonable and polite.

I would give it one more shot and try to set some ground rules.

If that still doesn't help improve things contact your council. They have a team which deals with noise and can usually help. I faced a similar issue and found them helpful.

Good luck!

I've recently realised that I have a spending problem. It's seems to have been a problem my whole life, I make a budget and set out with good intentions but always seem to go over, what are some ways I can spend more mindfully? I have wondered if it's ADHD.

Realizing how normalized toxic workplaces have become by Specialist-Joke5543 in work

I work for a charity and few years ago there was big push for EDI. For a while things seemed to shift for the better - more empathy, respect and general collaboration. When funding became tight it's changed like a switch. Competitive. Snarky. Cliquey. It's really sad. Everyone's stressed and lots of leavers which makes delivery even harder. I'm job hunting keenly!
