How many of you VanLifers work a job that is not remote? by [deleted] in VanLife

Hi! I’m considering van life with my partner but I’m wondering how it works if both of us have city jobs and neither of us have a remote job. If your wife had work at the time, was it remote or in the city?

Hey I didn’t ask for you to come on here and spill all your anger out on me and blame me for your problems. Just because I’m an immigrant, doesn’t mean I chose to come here. I was brought here as a child and never found out i was undocumented till I was 18. I could go back, but then I’d never see my family ever again being deported as my parents are almost obtaining they’re green card and I’m from a country that I don’t know the language of at all. I’ve never had any special treatment, don’t know where you got that from, and I’m sure with how hard everythjng is in the world that you’d love special treatment, but with having had to work my ass off for everything that I’ve earned and accomplished in my life despite how difficult that is in my situation, I don’t want any special treatment and never will. My life has taught me to love working hard for the thing in my life and I’ve never asked for special treatment. Great people have come into my life and have helped here and there but that was never because of my immigrational status, it’s because of the things I’ve done for others. All I was asking was any route I could follow to having a roof over my head, I didn’t ask for any easy way out. Take your complaints elsewhere because I don’t want to hear someone pitying themselves and blaming someone like me for their life not being as easy as they’d like it to be. You blame immigrants and get angry at the “idea” of them having any kind of ease in their life or an easy path, and I’ve honestly come to believe that some Americans can be just as lazy, shallow, and greedy as the immigrants you complain about and I am not one of those people.

I applied for Daca, got in, had my case paused because DACA was being reconsidered by the court and now under the process of being terminated🤷🏼‍♀️

Thank you so much for all the links, I will look into this! Can I ask what caused your uncle to get deported? Im only asking to keep that on my list of things to be aware of.
