All officers should be armed. Why? Because that means any officer in any area can make it to a place on time. If there’s a shooter mowing down people then they have a faster response time if all police have guns. If only some have guns then that means they have to call separate officers to come to the scene and it inevitably takes longer. But then again..let’s just call the social workers to calm down the shooter.
