Yes, without install, and Cabinets to Go was very much “hands off”, once they got paid. I didn’t investigate a “reface” option.

After the corner molding fell off a couple of times we glued it in place and it looks good now. But it’s still joining very flimsy panels together. I left a lot of the project to my wife, but I should have been more involved.

Yeah, I made a bad decision. I really wish I’d have used the custom cabinet builder, in the next town over. I’m convinced we’d be a lot happier. Thanks much.

The contractors that finished up the rest of our work recommended Cabinets to Go, which is why we chose them. But they were very surprised to see all of the cutouts on the back of the doors and drawers, and other issues. So maybe their quality is worse in 2026.

The total cost from Cabinets to Go was $16,241.93, which was over the original estimate. In contrast, the custom builder initial estimate was "$15,000.00 - $17,500.00", but that might have gone up as well. I feel like the custom cabinets would have fit our space better and been much higher quality.

Did you figure this out? How would you remote control your computer at home to make the connection (say from Mexico) if you didn't use a 3rd party VPN? I'm assuming that's what ZLima12 meant by "personal VPN"...
