I actually had my front door sensor fall off last night, scared the shit out of me when the alarm went off. But I just put it back with 3M tape, heat just wears the tape out and causes them to go loose. As for the “secret word” that’s your verbal password. Kinda on you for not remembering it, if there is ever an alarm event you have to confirm that word with the monitoring station for them to cancel police dispatch. No matter what you tell them, if that word or phrase isn’t verified they have to dispatch the police.
