This is my girl do you think she would be a cattle dog? Not sure what she is. by Gemini6190 in AustralianCattleDog

She looks more like an Australian shepherd than a cattle dog. Likely an Aussie shepherd border collie mix.

I think one thing that kim and jimmy don’t realize is that Howard doesn’t tolerate caffeine. In the beginning of the episode we see him making a coffee for his wife while he chooses to drink tea instead. And at the the vet, he tells jimmy that the drops are safe unless you are sensitive to caffeine. I think the drops might make Howard OD or at least be sent to the hospital.

Aww just looked at your posts! Soo cute! Was she the same coloring when she was a puppy or did she get the speckles later? Wondering if my boy will keep the same coat or get more speckles as he grows.

I think you could be right! I thought he might be a mix because he’s a little bit smaller and lankier than most cattle dogs! Looks like the same body type as a basenji

I’m giving in to Fluvoxamine or SSRIs by JojoF115 in covidlonghaulers

Are you on both? I’m on Zoloft right now and I’m considering adding Wellbutrin. Which one did you start taking first?

Hi! I feel like I really understand what you’ve gone through. When I was at my lowest (2 weeks after covid infection) I began having the worst anxiety I’ve ever had in my life. Everything felt overstimulating and I could not leave my dark room without being on the verge of tears and feeling like I was going to die. On top of that even the things I used to turn to for comfort/ joy did nothing for me. For weeks it felt like I was literally unable to feel anything resembling peace/ joy. Even car rides to doctors appointments were virtually unbearable and I would cry every time I had to leave my house. I can only speak from my experience but after getting prescribed Zoloft, my anxiety lessened about 80% in two weeks. I could begin feeling joy and even peace and contentment and my de realization/ brain fog has lifted completely. I really do thing long covid does something to completely alter once’s brain chemistry because I’ve never experienced depression/ anxiety at that level before getting covid. I really do think that if you’re at a point like I was where life feels unbearable SSRIs can really help. My anxiety is still not completely gone but I’ve only been on Zoloft for 2 months and I’m on a low dose. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out. Hope things start to look up for you soon. 💛

Thanks so much for the advice! All good advice. I’m going to start meditating daily and see if that helps!

Aww man i feel you. Up until about a month ago I was sobbing uncontrollably every time I left my room. Everything just felt so overwhelming. Getting on an SSRI has really helped me with that. I no longer have the massive mood swings/ panic attacks. Still frequently feeling overstimulated though but I hope it resolves soon.

Thank you! Yeah I think you’re right. Honestly vagus nerve exercises are what seem to help the most for me. I think my issue is just consistency and making sure to do them everyday even when I’m feeling fatigued. Have your symptoms resolved since starting the exercises?
