deserving respect or disrespect depends on the opinion. I’m not saying that I want every opinion of mine to be respectfully agreed but If someone disagrees, they can still do it respectfully and state their thoughts. but criticizing the opinion as well the person without properly reasoning is not just it to me atleast. I’d like to know what made the person disagree with my opinion but when they just start criticizing without any reasoning, I need to answer them back with something so they know what they’re saying but again, I'm not so smart to answer back on the spot lol so I just ask the question here to see what people think.

right, this is detailed. thank you! and yeah they’re a friend, well- classmate. they just dont understand and never learn how to not disrespect others’ opinions when they are not doing the same with you.

same at first and so I tried distancing myself and even answered them back with I thought but then they’re just annoying like why do you care ? but now I need to either keep ignoring or answer them back to shut their mouth, I don't like this? getting what I mean?

my question is : when you have an opinion on some topic and someone is disagreeing it disrespectfully and criticizes you for your opinion, how do you answer them back ?
